Dr. Ivori Lipscomb-Warren is a higher education practitioner and leader with a doctorate in education, dedicated to cultivating student success and purposeful pathways from PK–12 to college. With over two decades of instructional and administrative experience, Dr. Ivori has led initiatives that advance retention, transition, and student belonging across educational settings. Her teaching spans freshman orientation, psychology, business, and professional development, grounded in culturally responsive, engaging learning environments that support students holistically.

What drives Dr. Ivori’s work in higher education is her commitment to supporting students, particularly those who are at-risk, as they navigate their journeys from high school to college in both two-year and four-year institutions. She is passionate about building systems and pathways that ease transitions, foster persistence, and position students to thrive. Dr. Ivori collaborates with schools, colleges, and organizations to create environments that center student success while equipping educators to foster sustainable outcomes. She also advises PK–12 administrators, particularly on creating supportive pathways for neurodivergent students and building systems that foster belonging and success.

Advanced student success through program development, early alert systems, and mentoring initiatives.
Served as a member of the MSU Freshman Orientation Course Redesign Learning Community, contributing to the enhancement of first-year student experiences and outcomes.
